Skating in the Vineyards of Stuttgart, Germany

Yesterday, I got a new pair of inline skates. You may recall how I laughed and danced like an obnoxious madwoman. Because…well…new inline skates. I promised you that I would share pics of my skating route. And here they are. Did you know there are wine vineyards in Stuttgart, Germany? I didn’t either. In fact, over a month ago I knew pretty much nothing about this area. I think I had only heard of it in passing once or twice before  (sorry Stuttgart). The vineyards are up along the hills that surround this area. There are tiny vineyard houses (that’s what I call them) amid the crops errr grapes.   vineyards stuttgart germany houses   Along the way is a park with a lake in the middle. I love parks. This one doesn’t have the best surfaces to skate on but it’s pretty nonetheless. Lake in the park stuttgart germany There’s a bridge that leads into/out of the park. I always feel a little scared hesitant skating across bridges. Probably just paranoid. skating near wallenstreinstr stuttgart garmany park bridge I didn’t stay in the park long. I ventured back out and skated around it, past even more vineyards, cyclists, and walkers. skating near wallensteinstr stuttgart germany Smooth, mostly empty trails + my new skates = bliss. I could’ve stayed out there all day. Really. ALL day. There’s always tomorrow.
